CWR to become a contemporary art platform

From 16 to 17 February the Caucasus Wildlife Refuge (CWR) Eco-Center hosted contemporary artists, as a start of interest-based partnership between the Foundation for the Preservation of Wildlife and Cultural Assets (FPWC) and the Inknagir Literary Club. The two organizations have joined their forces to organize Talking Tree Project together at the CWR.
The project aims to create new pieces of modern art by using natural phenomena such as snow, trees, mountainous views, etc., and environmental research materials from CWR resources (wildlife videos, eco-training material, animal footages, etc.). It is going to be a successful collaboration between artists and environmentalists who will create modern art pieces using performances, videos, text and music, that practically demonstrate a creative dialogue with nature. At these days the artists were in CWR to explore the area and design the art projects to be implemented.
During the second stage of the project, which will take place later this spring, the artists will already create their works. The artistic exhibitions will be presented at the Akanat Art Gallery and Café and online.
